A little about me and how I came to this art of food:
I grew up in the 60’s and early 70’s, when eating canned vegetables was thought to be healthy, and most things tasted better with more sugar or salt.

After raising 3 kids and going from homemade baby food to gourmet cuisine, with much baking experience in between, I have decided simple food is the most satisfying. Baking and grilling are my favorite kitchen activities, and I have been inspired by folks like Alton Brown and Bobby Flay.

I began baking granola over 15 years ago, when I found a recipe for Koinonia granola, which our family enjoyed almost as much as our friends did. Being a food adventuress, I began to change the ingredients, experimenting with flavors and textures. I think food should be exciting to all senses (some day we’ll have tours of the granola factory while baking to share the wonderful aroma!). I still have many more ideas for granola and look forward to creating new flavors to share with all who love granola, and those who just don’t know it yet!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out our website. I hope you’ll be more than satisfied when you try any of our granolas!
